Condition Reaper DPS Build

GW2. Raid Build. Condition Reaper DPS Build. Necromancer PvE.

Last Update: August 2024

Role: DPS

The Condition Reaper DPS is a necromancer build with chills also applying bleeding for sustained damage. Curses and Reaper traits make other conditions like fear and blind also apply chill making those also apply bleeding. Because each instance of chill applied regardless of the duration gives the full effect of the bleeding, you can also get value from pulsing chills and combo finisher whirls in chill fields to get many stacks of bleeding very quickly.

Always use Blood Is Power with Dagger 4 to transfer the conditions back to the target, so only use Blood Is Power when in your Scepter/Dagger weapon set.

Greatsword is a mostly power-oriented weapon, but the 4 (due to Blind) and 5 will apply chill and the 2 and 3 are whirl finishers which can be used inside the chill field from your Shroud 5. This means you want to use Shroud 5 at the end of your Shroud entrance so you can whirl in it with the Shroud 4 and Greatsword 2/3 before the chill field disappears. Dagger 4, Shroud 2, and Well of Darkness will also blind which applies bleeding but only once every 3 seconds. This means you want to space out your blind application. Skill order is extremely important to maximizing damage because of combo finishers and not overlapping blinds, so only use the Well of Darkness while in Scepter, and Shroud while in Greatsword.

Skill Rotation:

There are two sets of skills used together, these are the Scepter and utility skills, and the Greatsword and Shroud skills. Rotate between these two skill sets revolving around the weapon swap cooldown.

Scepter / Utilities

  • Plaguelands
  • Well of Darkness + Signet of Spite
  • Blood Is Power + Dagger 4
  • Scepter 2 > 3 > Dagger 5 > Swap

Greatsword / Shroud

  • Greatsword 5 > Enter Shroud
  • Shroud 2 > 5 > 4 > Leave Shroud
  • Greatsword 2 > 3 > 4 > Swap

Use Shroud 3 for an extra Fear > Chill if you need to wait a bit longer for your Shroud 4/5 cooldowns. Try to position your character inside your target when performing the whirl finishers from Shroud 4 and Greatsword 2/3 inside your Shroud 5 because the projectiles from the finisher will originate from your character and can miss if they go in another direction.
