Role: Support or Tank

The Support Mechanist is a tanky healer engineer build that gives out plenty of boons including Alacrity, Might, Protection, Fury, Vigor, and passively heals allies with Regeneration while protecting them with Barriers. Because you have support skills and a Jade Mech which also supports, you can be supporting two separate locations at the same time, which is a very powerful ability in more difficult encounters that force your party to split up.

Be aware of where your Jade Mech is positioned to know that it is properly on the squad to give its support. Use the Mech F ability controls to send it to the target that your team is attacking. If there is no target for your mech to attack where it is needed, you can move yourself and recall the Mech to you (F controls) to position it near where your team needs support/boons.

Skill Priority:

• Pulse Alacrity using Barrier Signet and Barrier Burst F3 when the squad is not moving by sending your mech to the target or recalling it back to yourself. Use Shift Signet to reposition the Mech if it isn’t pulsing Alacrity on the squad.
• Upkeep Protection and Regeneration by using F2, Shortbow 4, Shield 4, Shield 5
• Cleanse allies with Med Kit 3, Elixir Gun 3, Elixir Gun 5
• Heal allies by blasting the water field of Med Kit 3 with Elixir Gun 4, Med Kit 5, Shield 4, Shortbow 2
• CC break bars with Shortbow 5 + another Shortbow 2-4 skill chain reaction
