Support Scourge Build

Role: Support

The Support Scourge is a necromancer build with the least healing out of all supports, but with great protective capability through Barriers and Revival from the Signet of Undeath. While on paper it sounds suboptimal, when played well in an actual scenario, it often performs well at stopping unnecessary deaths and correcting mistakes, resulting in success more often when things go wrong.

Provide Alacrity and protect your allies by sharing your Barrier with them. Placing your Sand Shades (F1) on distant allies and then standing where most allies are stacked will allow you the most barrier application when you use your F3 and F5.

The Transfusion trait enables your staff skills to trigger beneficial effects to allies while healing them. Try to constantly use staff marks on allies when at range, and attack with the dagger skills to provide lifesteal to allies when next to your target.

Dodging or Staff 2 will also provide regeneration to your allies from the Mark of Blood, which is important to upkeep as it will heal your allies while your barriers keep them protected. Use Staff 5 on allies or walk over them with Trail of Anguish when stability is necessary, and use Staff 4 when cleansing is necessary. Dagger skills and Warhorn 5 will share life steal with allies for a bit of supplemental damage and to keep them at full health.

• Stats: If you don’t wish to tank, replace your stats with Harrier, Magi, or Plaguedoctor to reduce your toughness.
