    Getting Started

In Guild Wars 2 the Legendary Trinkets provide the same stat bonuses as Ascended trinkets but here are a few perks Aurora has over them:

    • Unique visual effects that enhance your character’s appearance.
    • Legendary Armory integration, allows all your characters to use the trinket simultaneously.
    • Free stat swapping.
    • Aurora’s special synergy with Vision and Coalescence, its visual effect changes depending on how many of these Legendary Trinkets you have equipped.

This guide will walk you through five steps to craft Aurora, covering:

    • Unlocking the first collection.
    • Gathering and assembling each of the major components using the Mystic Forge.

But before that, there are some account-bound requirements and time-gated components you have to know so you can be prepared to optimize your journey to be as efficient as possible.

    Crafting Aurora – Time Commitment

Crafting the Legendary Accessory Aurora is a long process. Gathering the materials and completing all the collections might take you several days, but it’s important to note that Aurora is time-gated.

Aurora takes 16 days minimum to craft due to time-gated collections and daily cooldowns on certain materials.

To avoid delays, it’s recommended to begin working on the following components as early as possible:

      • This backpiece is required to complete the “Draconis Mons Master” sub-collection part of “Aurora: Awakening“.
      • It is acquired through several time-gated collections that take a minimum of 16 days to complete.
      • You can find a detailed explanation of the required collections for the backpack in the collection section of this guide.
    • 21
      • These materials are used to craft the needed to complete the “Aurora II: Empowering” collection.
      • Since it has a daily cooldown to craft, you will need 21 days minimum.
      • Alternatively, you can purchase the from the Trading Post to bypass the waiting time.

If you decide to craft them while working on other parts of this Legendary Accessory here are the materials you will need for the Lumps of Mithrillium.
